Homework

Students in Special Education for their Reading Class will have a spelling test each Friday unless there is a 3 day week. On weeks that consist of 3 or few days, we will not have a spelling test.

I will not give homework to students in special education classes unless students have been absent from class. If a student has been absent, I may have them complete work outside of the classroom on a case by case basis. They have homework from their general classrooms to work on. I would rather be able to walk the student through the work to make sure they understand what they are doing.

Expectation Stations

Linden hosted "Expectation Stations" this afternoon. Students had the opportunity to learn expectations of school behaviors in various school roles. Many teachers and staff dressed up for their role playing. This is going along with the Linden PBS (positive behavior system) program entitled ROAR.
